In 2013, after ten years in the specialty coffee industry, Andy Sprenger asked The Made Shop to help give his exceptional coffee a complete facelift and redesign. The new bag design, using an iconic pattern of black-and-white coffee blooms, was a hit. After seeing his business rise 300%, he commissioned us to expand the series.

Of the new roster of seven, I designed four of the bags. Keeping the strict black and white palette, this series explored patterns across scales: from the microscopic to the cosmic.
